This past Sunday has put me back in the groove. I find blogging a pure delight and now I’m craving to do more. What girl doesn’t love to get dolled up & take pictures?! The whole process is so much fun – preparing your outfit for the photo shoot, doing your hair & makeup (even though with this photo shoot, my hair had no chance. Wind – 1 | Adrianna – 0), finding the perfect spot to take pictures, sitting down and actually writing the blog post, etc. I’m so happy that my wonderful friend Ania wanted to take photos of me. I love them all. Now I can’t wait until we do it again – hint hint: the sooner, the better 🙂 haha

I was never sure how I’d feel about over-the-knee boots because I was always worried I would look weird because I don’t have long legs. But I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on for the first time. I fell in love with them so much I ended up getting 3 different pairs. They go perfectly with almost everything I wear. I love the look of these boots with my long fur vest – which I had the pleasure of wearing for the first time this season – well actually ever – since it’s been hanging in my closet for the past few months. I completely forgot I even had it. Funny thing is that my grey, long sleeve, fur jacket from Sunday Funday Part 1 was worn for the time as well. I will have to make use of them more often before the cold weather ends.

Thanks for stoppin’ by ♥

Special thank you to Anka Photography ♥

Sawicki Atelier

Hello ♥

Have any of you New Yorkers heard of Sawicki Atelier? If not, then you have been missing out on some chic jewelry.

Sawicki Atelier consists of fine, dainty & delicate handmade jewelry made of fine metal. All designs are created locally in New York and all gemstones are sourced locally.

I’m lucky enough to know the person behind it all – Vera Sawicki – I may not know her personally (but I hope that could possibly change one of these days) but we do know each other through social media for some time now. She’s an amazing blogger with a great sense of style! 🙂 Check out her blog, you’ll see what I’m talking about – Blonde in Cashmere.

Sawicki Atelier’s collection consist of 14k Gold Earrings & Necklaces, Sterling Silver Earrings & Necklaces & my all time favorite – the Drusy Collection.

Here you can find my 3 favorite pieces from Sawicki Atelier :

ear-jackets-rose

Vermeil Ear Jackets

These 14 karat gold sterling silver jacket earrings are really popular right now. The cubic zirconias shine beautifully. They are available in rose gold vermeil or  yellow gold vermeil but my personal fave is the rose gold.
necklace-gold-eye

Diamond Evil Eye Pendent

I’m obsessed with anything that has to do with evil eyes. So this obviously won my heart over. This gorgeous & classic evil eye is set in 14 Karat gold with a .20 total white carat diamond weight is a timeless piece.
studs-drusy-blue-square
Drusy Stud Earrings
I was lucky enough to collaborate with Vera & receive these beautiful blue natural agate drusy earrings. They come in 3 other colors- pink, orange & multi-colored. These earrings can be worn alone as a statement piece because of their sparkle or can be paired with a matching necklace.

As you can tell, I love them! ♥

Here you can see how they glisten.

I’ll take some more up close pictures to show you how beautiful they truly are. So make sure to check back! 🙂

A huge shout out to Vera, thank you so much & I’m very happy we got to collaborate! It’s awesome to find kind people on social media. I hope to do more work together in the near future. Kisses to you!

Their clothing is so cute & chic. Below you can find a few items that I adore. Let me know if you feel the same way! Enjoy the day ladies! ♥

Keeping it Neutral

IMG_3076

Hello Friends! Hope all is well with you. 🙂

Everything has been going great on my end. We are still in the process of buying our first home. News regarding that should get back to us shortly – maybe this week or next. This week would be absolutely amazing though since my birthday is tomorrow! But you can’t rush these type of things so we have to patiently wait. I’ll keep you posted…

Besides that, we’ve just been hanging out and trying to get our mind off things. This past weekend we left CT and took a drive to NYC for the night and hung out at my house. I love coming back to NYC, it’s my favorite place to be. I’m a true city girl and I just love the vibe I get whenever I’m here. Once I get on the White stone Bridge & see that city view I feel so ecstatic.

We spent Sunday Funday in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. My mom, my boyfriend & I went to eat at our favorite polish restaurant Karczma  – it’s traditional decor resembles an old country farmhouse that makes you feel like you are in Poland. The old polish folk music, waitresses dressed in traditional folk dresses and traditional polish food make it an unforgettable journey back in time. I recommend you all to try this restaurant out whenever you come to NY, I’m sure you won’t regret it. Afterwards, to get rid of our sweet tooth we went to Fortunato Brothers Cafe & Pasticceria, which is one of the best bakeries in Brooklyn. The day was perfect.

With this look I figured I’d keep it neutral. The dress/tunic was very comfortable and perfect for a sunny fall day. If you are worried that it will be too short for you, just wear some shorts underneath. Tunics are mean to fit loose, not snug. There are many types of tunics for women which can be different style, lengths and shapes. The trick is to pick the one that best flatters your body type. Some may have an empire waistline while others flow straight. Adding a belt is always a great idea. I usually put the belt on my hips – that’s where I think it looks best. I paired this outfit with my Nine West open toed booties which I absolutely love.

Addicted to Lipstick – Style Lately <3

Hello Beautiful People! 🙂 I’m dying to share this lovely tee shirt I recently received from Style Lately ! This shirt was basically made for me since I LOVE LIPSTICK – especially when it’s red! Whenever I put an outfit together I always have to add my red lipstick because it’s my signature look and only then I feel complete. In the past I would of never thought I’d wear lipstick, I didn’t feel comfortable enough. When I finally tried it for the first time I couldn’t believe what I missed out on. The lipstick that I mostly use is Lancôme Red Haute Color Design Lipstick. ♥

Summertime Sadness <3

IMG_2346

This Labor Day Weekend officially marked the end of the summer. Can’t believe how fast it flew by. The craziest part is that yesterday was most likely the hottest day of the summer & this whole week should be the same over here in the NYC/CT area. This is such a tease! I know most of us are going through some sort of summertime sadness but stay positive everyone! Fall is here & for us fashionistas that’s a great thing! Fall is a great opportunity for us to create stylish outfits. There are so many must have items for Fall 2014 but stay tuned for that in another post. 🙂

My man & I had a wonderful weekend – we got to relax and also have some fun – the best of both worlds. We enjoyed ourselves in the Harbor Point area in Stamford, we went go karting with friends, ate some good food and relaxed at home. One of my look’s this weekend consisted of an off the shoulder hot pink top from Necessary Clothing and some white shorts. The top is very comfortable, honestly while wearing it you feel pretty naked and free. 🙂 & at the same type you still get to look sexy and stylish. I love that it shows off your shoulders, clavicle & back. This was a perfect outfit for Labor Day Weekend.
