Floral Kimono/Duster : Wardrobe Essential

Welcome back ♥

If you’re looking for a chic and easy way to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall, consider the kimono/duster. This versatile beauty has been a huge hit this summer & it will continue to be this fall season! There’s something that keeps my eyes glued to them whenever I see one. It’s a wardrobe essential! A fun & stylish statement piece that will be a great addition to any closet. Cool thing is, they come in various lengths and in every hue & fabric imaginable so you can tailor the look to your own style. It’s a garment that suits everyone because it’s easy to wear for every body type.  And lucky enough, kimonos/dusters are quite easy to come across both online and in stores.  Don’t forget to add this to your shopping list, you won’t regret it – because I sure don’t.  🙂

This past Sunday has put me back in the groove. I find blogging a pure delight and now I’m craving to do more. What girl doesn’t love to get dolled up & take pictures?! The whole process is so much fun – preparing your outfit for the photo shoot, doing your hair & makeup (even though with this photo shoot, my hair had no chance. Wind – 1 | Adrianna – 0), finding the perfect spot to take pictures, sitting down and actually writing the blog post, etc. I’m so happy that my wonderful friend Ania wanted to take photos of me. I love them all. Now I can’t wait until we do it again – hint hint: the sooner, the better 🙂 haha

I was never sure how I’d feel about over-the-knee boots because I was always worried I would look weird because I don’t have long legs. But I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on for the first time. I fell in love with them so much I ended up getting 3 different pairs. They go perfectly with almost everything I wear. I love the look of these boots with my long fur vest – which I had the pleasure of wearing for the first time this season – well actually ever – since it’s been hanging in my closet for the past few months. I completely forgot I even had it. Funny thing is that my grey, long sleeve, fur jacket from Sunday Funday Part 1 was worn for the time as well. I will have to make use of them more often before the cold weather ends.

Thanks for stoppin’ by ♥

Special thank you to Anka Photography ♥

City of Love, Dreams & Fashion

My mother, my boyfriend & I spent this past Sunday out and about in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s absolutely beautiful there. The views are spectacular. I love the vibe there, it’s the perfect place to relax and chill. You can lay out on the lawn and have a picnic, sit on the benches and look at the panoramic views of the Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges, the New York Harbor & Lower Manhattan, play soccer, basketball and volleyball (in the sand with city views), get some exercise by running or biking, take your children to the playground, go to the beach and get some sand in between your toes, go on the carousel, and so on. This is a go-to location and should not be missed. We had a wonderful time & the weather turned out to be amazing. Since my boyfriend & I haven’t had a chance to go visit Paris and go to the “Love Lock” Bridge we decided we wanted to leave a part of our love at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. We found a fence that had other locks on it as well & we attached it there. In a year we will go back & check if it’s still there.

Oh how I missed these New York City views! Recently, I haven’t been able to spend as much time as I’d like to in the city. This place makes me feel alive, free and unstoppable. I feel as if I could conquer the world. NYC is unlike any other place in the world. It’s the city of love, dreams & fashion. The energy you feel when you are here is indescribable. Every time I go into the city or see the views I get mesmerized & fall in love with this city all over again. This is where I grew up, this is my city and this is the place I will always call home.

This look was perfect for a New York City type of day. It was vibrant, chic, stylish & made me stand out from the crowd. It was also super comfortable. Perfect for a day spent wandering around and still looking good at the same time.

A special thank you goes out to my wonderful boyfriend for the photographs! ♥♥♥

Currently Craving!

Happy Friday! Thank goodness the weekend is here & the best part is that it’s a LONG WEEKEND! I need a break from my weekly routine & I want to finish the summer off with a bang! I’ve been so busy recently that I just want to lay back & relax. And of course I’ll have plenty of time to take some pictures for new blog posts – I know you are all excited about that part. 🙂 Have a great weekend everyone!

I love sharing what fashion items I’m currently craving. Summer is officially coming to an end & Fall is upon us. In a way I’m bummed because no more beach weather & wearing cute summery outfits but then again Fall is perfect when it comes to Fashion! There are so many options when it comes to putting outfits together. Enjoy & let me know what you think!

Summer Lovin’ <3

This week I was lucky enough to get some time to relax in Bayville, Long Island. My wonderful boyfriend took me there and rented a little boat so we could enjoy ourselves. This summer has been pretty busy for us and we haven’t had the chance to do too many things. Every so often we try to do something different to make our summer more special. I had a great time and I suggest everyone to try it. Next time we are renting a bigger boat and going with more people. This day turned out to be one of my favorite days with him filled with numerous fun activities. I never take moments like this for granted, these are the memories I’ll always have/remember.

Here are some pictures, enjoy! 🙂
