This past Sunday has put me back in the groove. I find blogging a pure delight and now I’m craving to do more. What girl doesn’t love to get dolled up & take pictures?! The whole process is so much fun – preparing your outfit for the photo shoot, doing your hair & makeup (even though with this photo shoot, my hair had no chance. Wind – 1 | Adrianna – 0), finding the perfect spot to take pictures, sitting down and actually writing the blog post, etc. I’m so happy that my wonderful friend Ania wanted to take photos of me. I love them all. Now I can’t wait until we do it again – hint hint:the sooner, the better 🙂 haha
I was never sure how I’d feel about over-the-knee boots because I was always worried I would look weird because I don’t have long legs. But I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on for the first time. I fell in love with them so much I ended up getting 3 different pairs. They go perfectly with almost everything I wear. I love the look of these boots with my long fur vest – which I had the pleasure of wearing for the first time this season – well actually ever – since it’s been hanging in my closet for the past few months. I completely forgot I even had it. Funny thing is that my grey, long sleeve, fur jacket from Sunday Funday Part 1 was worn for the time as well. I will have to make use of them more often before the cold weather ends.
I want to show all of you that just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s always better. I found this similar Bitter Sweet Dress from Necessary Clothing. It also looks great and has the same style/fit. The only thing it’s missing is the “Designer Name”. Many of us need to remember that it’s not what you wear BUT how you wear it. So many people dress in high end designer clothing from head to toe but only a few of them have actual style. Remember that there is no price tag on style.
This is a fun graphic dress! The shoulder cut outs are a great feature as well. I find it very comfortable, you can wear it more dressed up or if you’re not in the mood for that, dress it down with some ankle boots. Enjoy the pictures! 🙂
