City of Love, Dreams & Fashion

My mother, my boyfriend & I spent this past Sunday out and about in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s absolutely beautiful there. The views are spectacular. I love the vibe there, it’s the perfect place to relax and chill. You can lay out on the lawn and have a picnic, sit on the benches and look at the panoramic views of the Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges, the New York Harbor & Lower Manhattan, play soccer, basketball and volleyball (in the sand with city views), get some exercise by running or biking, take your children to the playground, go to the beach and get some sand in between your toes, go on the carousel, and so on. This is a go-to location and should not be missed. We had a wonderful time & the weather turned out to be amazing. Since my boyfriend & I haven’t had a chance to go visit Paris and go to the “Love Lock” Bridge we decided we wanted to leave a part of our love at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. We found a fence that had other locks on it as well & we attached it there. In a year we will go back & check if it’s still there.

Oh how I missed these New York City views! Recently, I haven’t been able to spend as much time as I’d like to in the city. This place makes me feel alive, free and unstoppable. I feel as if I could conquer the world. NYC is unlike any other place in the world. It’s the city of love, dreams & fashion. The energy you feel when you are here is indescribable. Every time I go into the city or see the views I get mesmerized & fall in love with this city all over again. This is where I grew up, this is my city and this is the place I will always call home.

This past Sunday my boyfriend Dawid & I headed out to photograph my outfit. The weather was absolutely amazing, warm but breezy. I’m glad we can still enjoy the end of the summer. We don’t have too much time left unfortunately. We spent the day in Stamford, CT. We went to this great bar called World of Beer. It’s all about the beer experience there! They have an extensive selection of craft beers from around the world. The atmosphere is great & I love that they have seating outside with couches & fire pits (my favorite part about the whole place)! Oh yeah & I can’t forget that they have POLISH BEER! Dawid & I had some Lomza Export. This reminded me of my summers in Poland. World of Beer is the perfect place to kick back, relax & enjoy your favorite beer. Afterwards we just walked around the Harbor Point area & enjoyed the beautiful views and then went to the movies to see Let’s Be Cops. It was a good & funny movie. I recommend you go & see it.

So you all know how crazy I am about denim! I’m so glad I bought these distressed boyfriend jeans! Let me also add that they weren’t ripped that much when I first got them. Haha. I guess that’s what happens when you like to eat a lot! 🙂 I love the wash and fit of these jeans. This a must have in your closet. I also love my top from The Style Club. It’s a perfect fit and super comfortable. I really like the detail, design and cut outs. The heels are super comfortable and perfect for everyday wear. My feet don’t hurt afterwards, I can wear them all day long. I had to run all over a few store locations to find them but they were so worth it!

Till next time! Thank you for taking time out of your day to check out and read my blog! 🙂 Please share with your friends!

A very special thank you to my boyfriend for the amazing pictures!

Fun & Flowy <3

Happy Monday Everyone! 🙂

Today’s look is all about the 4 F’s! ♥ Fun, Flowy, Feminine and Fantastic! ♥ This easy breezy skirt and top are perfect for the summer. When it’s hot outside, it’s best to wear clothing that’s loose, light and comfortable while still looking chic. Personally, I think every female should have a maxi skirt in her closet. Maxi skirts are a necessity for the summer. It gives off a fresh look. You can keep this outfit simple or add some of your own personal touches. Most of us women are obsessed with shoes so make sure to pair the maxi skirt with a perfect set of heels. Accessories that will make this look stand out more are heels, a purse and jewelry since the outfit is more casual and simple. This type of outfit works with women of every age.

Bitter & Sweet <3

IMG_1199

Hello Lovely People! 🙂 ♥ I hope you’re all having a great week!

Today’s look is based off of Moschino’s Short Sleeve Dress.

I want to show all of you that just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s always better. I found this similar Bitter Sweet Dress from Necessary Clothing. It also looks great and has the same style/fit. The only thing it’s missing is the “Designer Name”.  Many of us need to remember that it’s not what you wear BUT how you wear it.  So many people dress in high end designer clothing from head to toe but only a few of them have actual style. Remember that there is no price tag on style.

This is a fun graphic dress! The shoulder cut outs are a great feature as well. I find it very comfortable, you can wear it more dressed up or if you’re not in the mood for that, dress it down with some ankle boots. Enjoy the pictures! 🙂
